Your Setup Guide
Your Rose Lamp has arrived.
Before you set it up, take 60 seconds to read this. It'll make all the difference between a Rose Lamp that looks okay and one that genuinely takes their breath away.
Most of our customers are giving this as a gift to someone they love - so this is a quick guide on how to set it up yourself first, test it, shape it, and make sure it's perfect before the person you bought it for ever sees it.
First things first: the packaging.
If your package arrived with a few creases, scuffs, or dents on the box - that's totally normal. Postal carriers don't always handle deliveries gently, and sometimes our packages get treated a little roughly along the way.
The packaging has one job: to protect the rose petals and electronics through thousands of miles of transit. It's not meant to be pretty. The lamp inside is what matters - and it arrives in perfect condition the overwhelming majority of the time, regardless of what the outside of the box looks like.

The branches arrive compressed. That's by design.
To fit safely inside the box, the rose branches are pressed close to the trunk during shipping. When you first take the lamp out, it might look a little flat or bunched together. That's your starting point - not the finished look.

How to shape it: Gently pull each branch outward with your fingers, fanning them away from the center trunk. The branches are fully bendable and rearrangeable - move them up, down, left, right, or twist them however you'd like. Give each rose its own space to breathe.

Take your time here. The difference between a freshly unboxed Rose Lamp and a properly shaped one is night and day.

Two ways to power it up.
Your Rose Lamp gives you two options:

Plug it in via USB. Use the included USB cord and plug it into any standard USB port - a phone charger block, laptop, or USB wall outlet. Best for permanent spots like a nightstand, dresser, or shelf.

Go wireless with batteries. The base also runs on 3 AA batteries, so you can place it anywhere - a centerpiece, a mantel, a windowsill - without worrying about cords. Great for gift presentation.

Now turn it on.
This is the moment. When the roses light up - that's when the Rose Lamp becomes what it's meant to be. Try it out in an already dim-lit room. The ambient glow, the warm color of each petal, the soft light it casts on the wall behind it. That's the experience you bought it for.
